This course provides a graduate-level, evidence-based analysis of opioid pharmacology, integrating pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, receptor theory, and clinical therapeutics. Emphasis is placed on individualized opioid therapy, risk stratification, opioid conversion, and management of complex patient populations. Learners will apply critical thinking and clinical judgment to optimize pain control while minimizing adverse outcomes, misuse, and opioid-related harm.
